Oatmeal YUM

Rosie eats all three meals with us, including snacks. Rosie does have her own dish that we fix up for her including all the foods. However, Rosie's favorite is eating out of our plates and bowl s. It ends up beiung a mess however alyays lots of fun.
I think her favorite meal is breakfast, oatmeal or a bowl of cereal.

  1. my African Grey loves oatmeal also, but he also enjoys most everything we eat. Sometimes afraid to try it at first (like a kid), but once he does most of the time he likes it.

  2. I recently made oatmeal for my birds and I added walnuts, almonds, cinnamon, and red palm oil. I was thinking of making another batch for them soon. Have you ever made oatmeal specifically for your bird? What would you put in it?

  5. Nice to know that my birds are not the only ones who have strange tastes. Whenever I have my Green Cheek Conure on my shoulder if I am eating anything he will want a taste.

  7. Plain oatmeal, cooked beans, whole wheat pasta, and grains like quinoa are very healthy.
